The institution of this prize was proposed and agreed during the yearly meeting 2009-2010 of the Circap Alumni, to be funded in the years to come from the special fund of yearly donations from Circap Alumni.The winner of the prize is decided by an external independent referee out of the pool of applications for the prize.
The first awarding of the Alumni Association Prize to support the internationalisation of CIRCaP students:
Two prizes of € 500 each were awarded this year. The prizes were assigned by our guest and referee, Prof. Mark Franklin (Stein Rokkan Professor of Comparative Politics at the European University Institute) and the two winners are
Stefano Braghiroli (year of programme enrolment 2006-07) and
Aline Sierp (year of programme enrolment 2007-08).
